IUI treatment involves placing processed semen in the uterus of a female around the time of ovulation. This is useful for patients with oligo-asthenozoospermia (low sperm count and motility) or cervical hostility in the female patient. Sperm placed in the uterus fertilizes the mature ovum to form a zygote, which after implantation results in a successful pregnancy

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) with Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is an assisted reproductive technology. In this process, a single sperm is directly injected into an egg to facilitate fertilization. It is often used when male infertility is a factor or previous IVF cycles have failed.

Embryo Transfer Instructions
भ्रूण प्रत्यारोपण निर्देश
भ्रूण प्रत्यारोपण से पहले:
  • 1. निर्धारित समय पर आपको अस्पताल आ जाना है।
  • 2. डॉक्टर द्वारा लिखित दवाइयाँ समय पर लेनी हैं।
  • 3. भ्रूण प्रत्यारोपण के दिन कोई भी खुशबू वाली वस्तु जैसे इत्र, साबुन, शैंपू का इस्तेमाल नहीं करना है।
भ्रूण प्रत्यारोपण के बाद:
  • 1. ET (Embryo Transfer) होने के बाद अस्पताल में कुछ समय आराम करना है।
  • 2. डॉक्टर द्वारा दिए गए निर्देशों का पालन करना है।
  • 3. डॉक्टर द्वारा दी हुई दवाइयाँ निर्धारित समय पर प्रतिदिन लेनी हैं।
  • 4. घर पर हल्के-फुल्के काम कर सकते हैं, भारी वजन नहीं उठाना है।
  • 5. घर का बना खाना खाना है। पर्याप्त मात्रा में पानी और पेय पदार्थ का सेवन करना है।
  • 6. अधिक तेल, मिर्च-मसाले वाले भोजन से परहेज करना है।
  • 7. पति से संबंध नहीं बनाना है।
  • 8. ET के बाद तनाव में ना रहें।
  • 9. 15 दिन बाद BHCG का ब्लड टेस्ट करना है। यदि जाँच की रिपोर्ट आने में देरी हो तो अपनी दवाइयाँ जारी रखें।
  • 10.कोई भी परेशानी होने पर तुरंत अस्पताल के पास आकर दिखाएं।
Before Embryo Transfer:
  • 1. Arrive at the hospital at the scheduled time.
  • 2. Take the medications prescribed by the doctor on time.
  • 3. On the day of the embryo transfer, avoid using any scented products such as perfumes, soaps, or shampoos.
After Embryo Transfer:
  • 1. Rest in the hospital for a while after the embryo transfer (ET).
  • 2. Follow the instructions given by the doctor.
  • 3. Take the medications prescribed by the doctor at the specified times daily.
  • 4. Engage in light activities at home; avoid lifting heavy weights.
  • 5. Eat home-cooked meals and drink plenty of water and other fluids.
  • 6. Avoid foods high in oil, spices, and chili.
  • 7. Refrain from having sexual intercourse with your partner.
  • 8. Avoid stress after the ET.
  • 9. Have a blood test for BHCG after 15 days. If there is a delay in getting the report, continue with your medications.
  • 10."If you experience any issues, promptly visit the Hospital for a consultation."
Egg Pickup (Ovum Retrieval) से पहले के निर्देश:
  • 1. पिकअप के एक रात पहले (12 बजे के बाद) भूखे पेट रहना है।
  • 2. सुबह कुछ भी नहीं खाना-पीना है।
  • 3. नियमित चल रही दवाइयाँ सुबह 5 बजे 2 घूँट पानी के साथ लेनी हैं।
  • 4. समय पर अस्पताल पहुँचे।
  • 5. कीमती सामान घर पर छोड़ कर आएं।
  • 6. Semen sample देने से पहले 3-4 दिन का परहेज रखें।
  • NOTE: अस्पताल आने से पूर्व सभी जरूरी दस्तावेज साथ लाएं।
Egg Pickup (Ovum Retrieval) के बाद के निर्देश:
  • 1. Egg pickup के बाद हल्का खाना लें - सूप, दलिया, चाय आदि खाएं एवं अगले दिन से सामान्य खाना लें व सामान्य कार्य करें।
  • 2. Egg Pickup के बाद यदि अधिक पेट दर्द, पेट फूलना, पेशाब कम आना या अधिक खून आए, तो तुरंत डॉक्टर से संपर्क करें।
  • NOTE: Egg Pickup procedure से जुड़ी जानकारी आपको समझाई जाएगी।
Instructions Before Egg Pickup (Ovum Retrieval):
  • 1. Fast from midnight before the pickup.
  • 2. Do not consume any food or drink in the morning.
  • 3. Take your regular medications with 2 sips of water at 5 AM.
  • 4. Arrive at the hospital on time.
  • 5. Leave valuable items at home.
  • 6. Abstain from sexual activity for 3-4 days before providing the semen sample.
  • NOTE: Bring all necessary documents with you when coming to the hospital.
Instructions After Egg Pickup (Ovum Retrieval):
  • 1. Have a light meal after the egg pickup, such as soup, porridge, or tea, and resume normal eating and activities the next day.
  • 2. After egg retrieval, if you experience severe abdominal pain, bloating, decreased urination, or heavy bleeding, contact your doctor immediately.
  • NOTE: Information related to the egg pickup procedure will be explained to you.
